Ronan operates Ronan Home under a registered Utah trade name. We are based in Utah, United States. This policy covers the app, our website, and related services. Contact support@sureyard.com with privacy questions.

Information we collect and use

We collect:

• Account and project details: Your name, email, account identifier, project ZIP code, and optional phone number.
• Room content: Uploaded scans, room measurements, layouts, images, supporting sensor data, designs, product choices, and estimates.
• Chat content: Your messages, attached files, AI responses, and generated images.
• Support information: The information you send when you contact us.
• Service records: Device and browser information, IP addresses, usage information, and error reports.

You provide account, project, room, and chat information when you use the app. Device permissions control camera and location collection. We and our service providers collect technical records when you use the app or website.

We use this information to manage your account, save your work, process scans, provide designs and estimates, check service availability, answer support requests, and operate and protect the service.

Room scans and images can show private details inside a home. Only submit content you have permission to share.

AI and other service providers

Google and OpenAI provide AI design, chat, and image processing. Depending on the feature, we share relevant room and design information, conversation history, attachments, and account identifiers with the selected provider. This processing takes place outside your device.

Before sending your content to an AI provider, we explain what will be shared and ask for your permission. If you decline, AI features are not available. Camera and location permissions are separate. Accepting our terms does not replace permission for AI sharing.

We also use service providers to manage sign-in, store your account and project data, and run the service. Location services receive project location information for delivery and travel estimates.

We require service providers that process personal information on our behalf to provide protections consistent with this policy and applicable law.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably needed to protect legal rights, address fraud or security threats, or prevent harm.

Website kitchen preview

The website kitchen is a demonstration, not the app’s AI design service. In this preview, kitchen choices and typed ideas are processed in your browser, not sent to an AI provider or saved to an account. Download links do not send your typed idea to the destination.

The website does not use cross-site tracking tools or change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. Hosting providers process technical records to deliver and protect the website.

Device permissions

Camera access is needed for room scanning. If you allow location access, scans can include precise location and direction information. Location access is optional. You can change these permissions in your device settings.

Your choices

You can withdraw permission for AI sharing in the app. This stops new AI requests unless you give permission again. Withdrawal cannot undo processing already completed.

You can request deletion of your Ronan Home account in the app. You do not need to contact support to start deletion.

Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights to access, correct, receive a copy of, or delete personal information, and to appeal a privacy-request decision. Email support@sureyard.com to make a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity. Responses, explanations, appeals, and protection against discrimination are provided as required by applicable law.

Data storage and deletion

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, support users, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and these purposes. An active account does not guarantee indefinite storage of every project or file.

When you delete your account, we remove the account and its associated personal information, including saved scans, designs, messages, and images, except information we must keep by law. We explain any required retention. If deletion takes time, we tell you the expected completion time and confirm when it is complete.

Backup copies can remain until scheduled expiry. AI providers may also retain limited security and abuse-prevention records under their retention rules. These records remain subject to applicable data-protection and deletion requirements.

Children

Ronan Home is for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. Contact support@sureyard.com if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Security and policy updates

We use reasonable measures to protect personal information, but no system is completely secure.

We post policy updates here with a revised effective date. When required by law, we also notify you through the app or by email and obtain any required consent.
